Sungai Pasai Longhouse

Tuai Rumah Dindang of Pasai Longhouse

Perseverance Autonomous

May 14, 2023, was Abang’s second-biggest journey into Dayak tradition and custom about the engagement process between two families, the Nyelang family and the Song family. Sungai Pasai is about 30 kilometers away from Sibu District.

Brave New World

Abang owes the Nyelang Family after they took care of Lily for more than 4 years when Lily’s heartbreak was caused by Lily’s fifth child, Ujang, imprisoned in Sibu Prison. What caused this to happen? It is because of the intolerance between civil law and the Lily family that they accuse Ujang of abusing his own nephew. This was the most heartbreaking thing Lily’s faced as a mother. I don’t really think that the Domestic Violence Act of 1994 and the Child Act of 2001 suit most Southeast Asian conservatives, who normally beat their own children or nephews who are really stubborn. The child who is said to have been abused by Ujang was his elder sister’s son, named Liza.

The Legacies Legacy

Lily has five children named Azlan, Runa, Liza, Beth, and Ujang. In this case, Liza has a child named Fique, and after Liza died from bleeding in the brain caused by an accident, Ujang took over as an uncle to take care of Fique. But there is an incident when Fique starts a fire inside their living house, and because of his nephew’s stubbornness, Ujang really beats Fique to teach a lesson. But later, the government charged Ujang under the Domestic Violence Act of 1994 and the Child Act of 2001, which put Ujang in prison.

Unilateral Guided Democracy

Unilateral

(of an action or decision) performed by or affecting only one person, group, or country involved in a situation, without the agreement of another or the others.

-Google-

I know it’s all about the rules that apply to the Malaysian government under the Child Abuse Act Order. And Ujang loses as the defender. The courts didn’t give Lily a chance to explain more about what is really happening between Fique and Ujang. But time will reveal who is good and bad. 1 year left before Ujang’s comeback

What exactly plays in our minds about this world’s madness within democracy? Prejudice, racism, capitalism, slavery, undercover violence, different ideologies — everything is within this covered democracy; everything is just not fine anyway. One last false flag did nothing for others in the circumstances. Why do we lose? It’s you who are losing. I am winning over this writing.

“ Tagal haranan duit dan jabatan
Balalu cinta mu bapindah pilihan
Aku je susah kalah saingan.
Tasingkir mundur buhau kan saran.

Danum mata ku mahantis rawu rawu
Mamikir ikau je dia ma ingat aku.
janji Satia mu sampai kabakas Ongku
Tapi kenyataan ikau Malihi aku .. ” — Rika Banjang

The Dayaks

Abang was a fighter, and unlike the rest of their siblings, for the rest of Abang’s life, the responsibilities that Allah Azza wa Jalla gave to Abang as first son, whether he could survive or not, could be a big deal, and maybe not. Abang will never give up on this life, not giving any sh*t, even to his Malay-assimilated cultural family. Anxiety was making his everyday life a struggle. Abang chose to be a Dayak.

Due to the economic and social imbalance in Malaysia, which came from political issues that affect all Dayaks in the East Malaysia region, there were no better job opportunities in the state and no good life for self-development, which led all Dayaks to leave their customs and traditions and go to West Malaysia to find a better place in life. Some of them abandoned their traditions due to the economic and social imbalance caused by political issues, but I don’t really expect that most Dayaks were tough about staying with their traditions. Before that, Abang had been living and assimilate the Malay culture since 3 months of birth, but later it did not give him satisfaction in finding himself in what he was as an adult, which in this case means that every person who has a number of 13 on their identity card will never have their right to housing in Peninsular, as an example, but most of it is about Rights, the biggest mistake that Abang’s West Malaysia family in betraying religion in the case of property and inheritance claims that make the brother not get anything from his father’s descendants , the Malay-Asimilated Culture Javanese family, made Capitalism was empowering only for their ethnic agendas, which are only for Malay. Wealth distribution has not been balanced since 1981. As Berita Harian states, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) found that the failure was due to problematic filling due to its position not being made as government policy. The National Cultural Policy (DKK), created in 1971, failed to achieve its goal of building a national identity.

There was a bloody tragedy in Kalimantan between the Dayak and Madura ethnic groups caused by economic and political imbalance, the Sampit Conflict, 2001. Ngayau reappeared. We try to avoid it in Sarawak. Even I remember that Durian Kimchi started to make a joke on the Ngepan Iban, saying that the Dayaks Tradition Ngepan Iban was a ‘Kain Buruk’. Even though they feel sorry for that, it doesn’t mean that all Dayaks are going to accept that with an open heart, and all Dayaks will be aware of that in the future.

Think Tank

Suggestions are made based on people's thoughts, which sometimes leads to trust issues. It's safer that West and East are separated by geography factors, unlike what happened in the Sampit Tragedy. Ethnic revolt is hard to prevent when the three processes of relationship imbalance occur. Some politicians think that it's easy to think about these two states of Malaysia. I remember how the United Nations eagerly wants to redistribute everything to be equal, such as these three main processes: politics, economy, and social, just to preserve harmony between them. It is a big issue if one of them struggles to keep their traditions agendas preserved while another does the same.

My honest opinion:

  1. One should be moderate and think about survivability together.
  2. History made us think of solutions to create a better life together.
  3. Tradition and custom should be preserved to maintain everyone’s identity and entity through policymaking.
  4. Illegalizing Ethnic Agendas

The Journey

Do people know Abang’s problem? or even feel empathy for how he struggles after Nancy? He put his trust in his mother more than ever before, just to ensure that he could take care of her through ‘Last Kalam’. That’s why Abang had to say that he never trusts people, including his sibling, because he really caught the thought that he really expected to happen in his nightmares. This happens frequently to every family that exists in this world. Which there’s no perfection except Ali-Imran and Ahlul Bayt Family. Each sibling has their own mission and point of view in this world—a different one—but the main point is about being a creature of God’s creation. Abang gave advice, but no one cared, so they thought they would prefer to follow their hearts. So be it. They never knew that Abang sacrificed his life just to ensure that they followed the steps to avoid making the same mistake as he did before.

Why do love is everything? Isn’t money capable of buying love?

Well, you know, it is broad thinking; some of them think money can buy everything and vice versa. Nah, you will find the factor of how this malicious fiat creates slavery amongst people, and we often hear that most suicide cases come from rich people. why ? Those poor people are still actively wandering to find their luck in this life. These poor people still assume that love is everything; to ensure peace in their hearts, money is not everything. This Fiat causes some people to accept the challenge of reducing the human population, so you don't have a point of view in this world except being slaves forever, even though we often hear that some countries avoid couples having more children, like Singapore and China.

Love will never ending at its end

Meet someone for now. I like her thinking, but it’s okay if we only like each other at first sight, and acceptance must come inside our hearts to realize what we really hope for. She’s 7 years younger than me, and I actually hope she’s going to liberate herself about the economy and social issues, as I am trying to help her be a good daughter for her parents, hoping that she can change their family’s social status. I don’t know why I feel like I want to care for her family as much as I can, but, yeah, I don’t have any expectations. Because people really depend on the expectation that I always lose to provide.

As long as she determined that education is a part of liberation and exposed herself to think about what exactly runs this world. I hope she survived like Nancy and Lily did, with expectations for better and for her own destiny.

The Truth

You’ve been brainwashed since earlier, saying that this is only a useless fucking rat race and that we don’t deserve it; we have been speculated over and over again. Why do you expect money to buy everything? The truth is, check your plan—your life plan. Does it help you achieve your mission? I bet most people did not survive the mid-life crisis. Let’s talk about capitalism-led times. Reduce the population? What kind of conspiracy theory is this?

Yes, it is. That’s how feudals decide to borrow people’s hearts to capitalize on the world. And that drug drags you down to extend their dream to becoming true via 8 to 6 or maybe more than the actual time lending, you must be brave enough to end that matrix. They know that you don’t have the courage to get away from them. You have become a person who addictively hopes for them to change your life, while you know that the human mind is complex with desire and needs. i am talking about your own dream.

Find your own peace and meaning of life before it is too late, you will never regret it.

There will be another episode…
